FamilyCon 2026 Code of Conduct

FamilyCon participants are expected to support a professional, respectful, inclusive and educational environment.

Expected behaviour

  • Communicate respectfully and professionally.
  • Respect personal boundaries, accessibility needs, confidentiality and consent.
  • Present evidence and professional opinions responsibly.
  • Follow venue, session, safety and staff instructions.
  • Disclose relevant conflicts where required.

Unacceptable behaviour

Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, threats, unwanted sexual attention, deliberate disruption, unauthorised recording, misuse of private data and unsafe conduct are not acceptable.

Contact an identified event lead or call +92 321 4277856. Reports should be handled with appropriate discretion and without promising confidentiality that cannot legally or operationally be maintained.

Response

The organising team may take proportionate action, including a warning, removal from an activity, withdrawal of access or referral to the venue or appropriate authority. Decisions should be documented and reviewed fairly.
